Ways to Give

Online: Make an online gift now. Credit cards are processed securely by Network for Good.

Become a member: Your annual membership keeps you connected to the NMFSH. Learn more.

By Mail: Print the Membership and Gift Form and complete it. If paying by check, make your check payable to the NMFSH.

Transfer of Stocks, Bonds or Other Securities: Donations of appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual funds may have additional tax advantages. You can transfer stocks directly from your brokerage account to the NMFSH in two ways:

1) Personally Contact the Museum’s Broker
Contact Ryan Kisling or Chris Dunbar, Financial Advisors at Big Sky Wealth Management (1-800-451-0606) in Missoula. They will guide you through the process.

Please contact the museum office (406-541-6374) to notify us that you have made a stock donation. A tax receipt will be sent once the transaction is complete.

2) Ask Your Stock Broker to Transfer the Stock
Your broker will need the following information to complete the transfer:
a) Account Name: National Museum of Forest Service History
b) Account Number: 6540-7670
c) DTC # 0075

For Broker Transfers: PLEASE notify the NMFSH that you have transferred stock so that the NMFSH can acknowledge your gift and you have the records needed for income tax purposes.

Employer Matching: Many companies have a matching gift program to support employee interests. Ask your human resources or personnel department for a matching gift form to include with your contribution.
